Turning Pink

Today my good friend Angela whom I met in VanCity had a thanksgiving potluck at her house. I had a good time. Pretty intimidating and a little awkward since some of the people there have heard/know of me, whereas I didn't know a single person other than Angela. Angela showed me the scrapbook she started making of the UBC Explore Program. It looked AWESOME! I am so jealous! I wish that I could draw like her. I met one of her good friends S, who was actually nice enough to come up and talk to me. I love it when people do that, especially since I didn't know anyone there. So I was talking to him about school and stuff, and I started to realize that he was pretty cute. And I have this really bad thing when it comes to talking to cute guys, my face starts to burn and turn really REALLY pink. In other words, I start to blush furiously. (awww...so cute, right? NO! because it's so OBVIOUS!!!!) I tried not to look at him directly, so I kept more of my focus on V, a girl who I was talking to before S came up to us. But I was afraid that I was coming across rude....so then I would occasionally glance at his forehead. However, I didn't really need to go through all the effort, because my friends kept calling my cell and interrupted our conversation, so he probably thinks I'm rude anyway. *sigh*

I only stayed at Angela's place for about an hour. I had to meet up with Kitty, Shirley, another Angela, Jonathan and Shirley's friend Jerry at Go For Tea. We spent most of the night reliving/reenacting our most memorable clubbing moments....HAHAHA...so much fun! It's so true that everyone has (or will have) a night where they get so krunk (=krazy drunk) that they do something stupid which they regret the morning after. I know I've had my share.

I can't believe Thanksgiving weekend is coming to an end. I will miss my friends sooooooooooooooo much! But then again, I'll see them all again at Christmas! And we'll make some more memories!
