Beware of dog.

Giving out candy is fun! I love seeing the little kids in their cute little costumes. My favourite trick-or-treater (yes, I think I'm allowed to have favourites!) was this chubby asian kid dressed up as a vampire (or I think he was...he had a black cape...) and a cool light-up ghost necklace. Anyway, the first thing he says when I open the door is "AWWWW! So cute!" (he was referring to my dogs...not me. ha ha.)
Then he turns to me and asks "Why does your door say 'BEWARE of dog' when your dogs are so cute?".
"Don't you think that they are scary looking?"
"NO! They are SO cute!"
It was insanely adorable, I wanted to pinch his cheeks right there! I bet that him and his friend were freaked out about ringing my doorbell, because the kid turns back to his mom and says "it's ok mom, the dogs are so cute!".

I also harassed these guys for not wearing costumes. One of them actually tried to get away with it, by claiming to be dressed up as a basketball player! Yeah, right buddy! But then one of the guys actually felt bad and didn't ask me for candy. That just made me feel super guilty. I'm not that mean, I was only kidding! I'll still give you candy! If you know this guy, can you please tell him that I'm sorry. I felt even worse because I found out afterwards that he had brought his sister out to get candy. I'm sorry!

There weren't that many kids this year. And not that many people on my street give out candy anymore. It's sad. I have a whole bunch of lollipops left if anyone is interested.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to carve my pumpkin. Boo.... On a lighter note, all halloween candy will be on sale tomorrow, so don't forget to pick some up for exam time!

I hope you all had a Happy Halloween!
